Expected future work includes upgrading systems at the property’s Yacht Club, Mizner Center, Spa, tennis pro shop, golf pro shop, a total hotel interior modernization, plus the addition of an integrated Onyxworks headend control station.
Project Requirements
The Boca Resort and Club was looking for a solution to help reduce false alarms and improve internal communication, and requested a fully code-compliant design, installation and certified system.
Sciens Scope
Sciens designed, installed and commissioned a code-compliant Notifier fire alarm system consisting of 4,000+ devices with all buildings integrated into one complete system. We also added a graphics workstation giving the customer unparalleled transparency throughout the property and providing precise information to first responders, allowing for the fastest response to any emergency.
Outcome
The Boca Resort and Club now has a fully code-compliant and integrated fire alarm system that has helped reduce false alarms significantly, while providing a much higher level of safety for resort occupants and improved communication to first responders. Such a system is critical in applications such as hotels, where guests may be asleep during an emergency event, and need clear and rapid notification and communication.
